  1. Just in case some people are not tennis players or tennis aficionados 😅, he does this because players expect him to blast the ball on his forehand, so they wait at the base line – leaving the option for a dropshot. Game strategy for hard hitters, like myself too 🫡👍🏆

  2. I'm not expert tennis although a guy who called himself " tennis" said years ago to me " when you are playing Connors and Borg" He vastly overestimated my talent ! He thought I was real fast but rest of game? Anyways to me what separated Carlos and Novak is the crazy good shots they can often hit and when they need to!

  3. His drop shots were awful in the first match against Ruud which was so abnormal for me. And now it makes sense that Carlos is sick. He's finding himself back. ❤

  4. The drop shots in his Ruud and Rublev matches were night and day. Hope he keeps playing high level against Zverev even though he might still end up on the third place, if Ruud beats Rublev in two sets.

  5. Only Roger was this good (though backhands rather than Carlos' favourite, the forehand).. But I think Carlos is significantly more effective than Roger because he uses it more often and fearlessly
