A month has passed since then and was . Things didn't go as well as Adams had hoped for the Raiders. The former Packers receiver wanted to be reunited with his old pal Aaron Rodgers in New York in hopes they could rekindle their connection from Green Bay.
That hasn't really happened yet.
For all intents and purposes, Adams is actually worse off with the Jets than he was in his three games with the Raiders earlier this season.
He has fewer receiving yards in four games with the Jets (206) than in three games with the Raiders (209) and has also been on the losing side in more games (3).
If you're looking for direct comparisons, it would be fair to leave his first game out of the equation, as he played that game less than a week after joining the team. So let's compare his numbers from his last three games to his first three games this season in Las Vegas.
| team | Gms | Tgts | Rec | Yds | TD's | YPC | Victories |
| robber | 3 | 27 | 18 | 209 | 1 | 11.6 | 1 |
| Jets | 3 | 30 | 17 | 176 | 1 | 10.3 | 1 |
It's honestly quite surprising to see him go from a stodgy offense led by Gardner Minshew to reuniting with his former MVP quarterback and actually seeing his numbers drop. Not to mention, the team isn't performing any better in the win column.
Despite all this, his new team has lost as many games (7) as his old team and the same number of wins with him on the field.
As far as trade compensation goes, it's not necessarily something Raiders fans should celebrate. The picks to jump from a third-rounder to a second-rounder were either the Jets, who made it to the AFC Championship Game, or Adams, who was named second-team All-Pro. None of these things seem likely at this point.
The only possible good news here is that if the Jets keep losing, at least this third-round pick will be a high pick. If they started winning now and didn't reach these conditions, that would be the case where the Raiders would pick.
