Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray’s 2024 success marked by 1 key stat

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray has undoubtedly had his career furthered this NFL season by head coach Jonathan Gannon. Murray's elitism is represented by a key statistic that keeps the offense on schedule.

Murray ranks 6th among NFL quarterbacks with a 69.2% completion rate. From a perspective perspective, Patrick Mahomes, quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs, is ahead of Murray in fifth place in this category. This is great company.

Murray only totaled 2,058 yards in Week 10, so it's clear that Gannon doesn't expect Murray to be a high-volume guy. Instead, Gannon used Murray's rhythmic style of play to his advantage, using QB running plays and RPO to give Murray an easy read in the passing game.

Last Sunday at State Farm Stadium, Murray gave the Cardinals a 17-0 victory when he threw a precise touchdown pass to wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. in the second quarter.

Ultimately, as long as Gannon continues to establish the running game, he can lure defenses into coverage where opponents will be vulnerable to both the athleticism of the Cardinals' skilled players and the impeccable throwing accuracy of Murray.
