Panthers QB Bryce Young addressed team in ‘rare moment’ after loss

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young is getting his money's worth.

That statement also applies on the field, where the 23-year-old passer just delivered one of the most impressive performances of his NFL career. Young, on Sunday to the Kansas City Chiefs, throwing for a season-high 263 yards and a touchdown and bringing the reigning Super Bowl champions to the unexpected precipice.

This statement also applies off the field, where he spoke to his teammates in a “rare moment” after the defeat. . .

In fact, the speech was so inspiring that it could have brought starting defender Robert Hunt back onto the field. . .

After a nightmarish two-game start to his second pro season, Young was it at the beginning of the third week. But a Veteran quarterback Andy Dalton gave Young a second chance – leading the Panthers to a 2-2 mark last month.

In his four starts with the team, Young has completed 61.0 percent of his throws for 784 yards, five touchdowns and three interceptions.
