Conor McGregor has revealed he is interested in Anthony Joshua getting a second shot at IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois.
McGregor was one of the 96,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium to witness Dubois Shockingly stop Joshua in five rounds to retain his title in September.
It was a crushing defeat for pre-fight favorite “AJ”, and many prominent voices in the boxing world have called for him to hang up the gloves entirely.
However, 'The Notorious' believes the Watford man has what it takes to reverse the result against Dubois.
In conversation with talkSPORT This week McGregor explained why he would like to see Joshua make “one more attempt” to topple “Triple D.”

“I got the impression that the Joshua team was a little tense, even going into elimination – he looked too warmed up!”
“I wasn't that surprised, fair to Dubois. I thought Joshua did some good things too.
“He got back into the game but made a few mistakes and got a little too excited after missing the backhand.

“Joshua has shown in the past that he can make corrections and make amends, like in the fight against Ruiz.
“So I would like to see him try again. Dubois fought phenomenally that night and it would be a tough task for Anthony.
“But if anyone can do it, it’s AJ.”
Despite the wishes of McGregor and everyone else wanting an immediate rematch, it has been confirmed that it will not happen.
