He has impressed everyone with his distinctive strokeplay and temperament and is an Australian star Adam Gilchrist And Brett Lee were effusive in their praise Jaiswal while making comments in the first test.
In a video making the rounds on social media, Gilchrist says: “That’s six! Jaiswal scored his maiden century in Australia in his 15th Test match.
Jaiswal has cemented his position at the top of the order after making his debut against the West Indies in 2023 with a confident 171.
His best score is an unbeaten 214 against England and he averages over 56.
