Jasprit Bumrah's bowling skills have received widespread recognition and even exceeded his own expectations. A former Australian batting star Adam Gilchrist believes that the legendary Don Bradman would not have achieved his remarkable batting average had he faced a bowler of Bumrah's calibre.

“I don't rate him, there is no number that fits his position in world sport. He would have reached Bradman's peak in terms of balls. It would have been much further south of 99.” [Bradman’s batting average ] that he would sit (if he were to face Bumrah). I would give Donald 35 from Bumrah (in terms of batting average). You can’t have a reward high enough for him.”
Vaughan rated Bumrah's performance a perfect 10/10.
