Conventional wisdom says so Cincinnati Bengals will lose Tee Higgins to free agency next offseason.
But overall, the same logical thinking suggests that one of Andrei Iosivas or even Jermaine Burton could fill the No. 2 role opposite Ja'Marr Chase.
However, not everyone agrees.
Pro Football Focus, for example, just released a new 2025 NFL mock draft that has the Bengals taking Missouri's Luther Burden III at No. 10 overall:
Burden has been impressive this season, averaging 2.41 yards per route run. He was even better in 2023, posting an elite 91.0 PFF grade while averaging 3.29 yards per route run.
Given some of the needs across the defense, it would be a surprise to see the Bengals select a wideout in the first round.
But then again, Iosivas has largely been a disappointment this season avoid the issues that gave him red flags in the draft last year.
As of this writing, the 5-foot-11 Burden has scored 21 touchdowns and averaged nearly 12 yards per catch over the last three seasons, so he would fit well in the same offense as Chase.
