Cowboys fans have been waiting for this for what feels like forever. When they drafted Bland in 2022, they didn't know what he was made of and asked him to play nickel cornerback. When Diggs was sidelined by a season-ending injury in 2023, it was Bland who stepped into the starting lineup as an outside hitter and quickly established himself as one of the best in the business, breaking pick-six records in the process.
2024 promised a pairing of the two ballhawks as Dallas fielded the most dangerous combination in the NFL. As luck would have it, Bland landed on IR before the start of the season and wasn't a full practice participant all season until this week. Bland could make his first start of the season in Week 12, giving fans their first look at what could be a weekly highlight in 2025.
