There is hope that New England Patriots guard Cole Strange is in the home stretch of recovery, but speaking to members of the media, coach Jerod Mayo made it clear that the guard is not ready for practice just yet.
Strange has been out since last season and is battling a torn patellar tendon. The 2022 first-round draft pick is an integral part of the Patriots' offensive line when healthy. He started 27 games over the last two seasons, including all 17 in his rookie season.
The Patriots struggled with inconsistency along the offensive line. Mayo even went that far .
As for Strange, it appears the organization will have to wait a little longer until he is ready to practice.

Strange's return will be a welcome return for an offensive line that needs all the help it can get. The Patriots are taking a cautious approach to his health as they look to reintegrate him into the roster sooner rather than later.
