New England Patriots safety Jabrill Peppers has reportedly been removed from the Commissioner's Exempt List and reinstated by the NFL .
This means he is now eligible to resume his football activities, which includes training and taking part in matches.
Peppers has not been on the field for the Patriots since their Week 4 game against the San Francisco 49ers.
He was eventually placed on the commissioner's exempt list after… including “assault, assault with a dangerous weapon, strangulation and possession of cocaine.”
After posting bail, Peppers was released back in October with his attorney telling members of the media that there was evidence that would completely exonerate the NFL veteran.

If Peppers returns, the Patriots would have their entire defensive unit intact, save for linebacker Ja'Whaun Bentley, who is out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle.
