For the second time this season, the Giants failed to score a single point in the first half. This was also the first game all season in which the Giants recorded three turnovers.
The first two turnovers were attributed to Daniel Jones as he didn't play his best game at the Allianz Arena. He was awarded a clean pocket several times, but failed to connect with open receivers as his attempts often missed the mark.
For the fifth time this season, Jones finished the game with no touchdowns. He finished the game with a stat line of 190 passing yards, two interceptions and a low passer rating of 50.5.
To give the former sixth overall pick a partial shutout, the second interception was the fault of rookie running back Tyrone Tracy Jr., who dropped a pass in the red zone. It was a rollercoaster ride for the 2024 fifth-round pick, as he rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on 19 touchdowns, but also fumbled the ball in overtime, leading to the Panthers' victory.
The rushing attack was the only positive of the day, as Tracy Jr. and Devin Singletary combined for 143 rushing yards and a touchdown on 26 attempts. Jones also added 26 rushing yards and a touchdown on seven attempts.
