New York Jets interim coach Jeff Ulbrich said he is “angry” and “frustrated” as his team enters the bye week with a record of 3-8.
These feelings are understandable.
But quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he hopes his teammates and himself can go in the opposite direction with their time off.
After a poor performance in the final phase in a Rodgers, who was traded to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, said he was looking forward to escaping and regrouping.
“This will definitely be a week where we all clear our heads,” Rodgers said.
Based on his comment it might be harder to do this. Managing Director Joe Douglas and the future of many in New York's locker room may have changed drastically with this decision.
But I hope that some further considerations can be made.
