Did you know that the New York Jets ?
Yet somehow critics decided to stop All-Pro defensive lineman Sauce Gardner from contributing to that outcome.
The Jets (3-8) also allow just 0.7 passing touchdowns per game, but those aren't the stats that protect Gardner from his extremely biased critics.
They are so biased that they don't even consider the necessary pick the Indianapolis Colts (5-6) used to trade him in the first quarter of Week 11.

In the the Colts had a time of possession of 34:26, meaning New York's defense a. For perspectivethe p with an average of 65. However, Indianapolis still had to kick three field goals and three punts and converted only six of 15 third downs.
Unless you're playing NFL Madden with injuries and fatigue turned off, you'd have to be astronomically delusional to expect your defense to limit an NFL offense to just one passing touchdown in 67 defensive plays. But Gardner and the Jets defense did just that.

Meanwhile, Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers left and continued to dry out the defense. New York's offense totaled just 10 first downs and was a dismal four for 13 on third down attempts. Rodgers was sacked three times, the offense was beaten five times and the Jets defense was called on to do so save the day like they've been asking her all year.
Against them New York's defense endured brutality in a game in which Rodgers threw two interceptions, went scoreless in the second half and went three for 10 in the third.
Consider that Gardner was stripped of his head coach and defensive coordinator role this season, and now he is despised by aimless critics who are extremely vigilant in their effort to avoid criticism of Rodgers.
Hopefully, for the sake of the morale of the young players in the Jets' locker room, Rodgers will retire at the end of this season. His toxic campaign has cost honorable men their jobs and ruined team chemistry in the Jets' locker room. Gardner's reign as a top five defensive back hasn't worsened at all, but at this point teams can hope that the franchise might be stupid enough to let him go as well.
