For the second straight week, Williams — who completed 32 passes for 340 yards and two touchdowns — and the Bears' offense found a rhythm by distributing the ball to their top targets.
Moore led the team with a season-high 106 yards and caught all seven of his targets, while Allen had his best game of the year with nine catches for 86 yards. Kmet and Odunze combined for 103 yards on 12 catches.
Similar to last week, the offensive improvement began with play caller Thomas Brown. Williams praised the way Brown has coached him over the past two weeks, including his determination and in-game communication.
“[With] “Thomas, to be honest, I really think it’s just his attitude that helped him,” Williams said. “His, I don't want to use that word, but 'aura' I guess.” He has a certain aura that just allows you to play freely. He knows what he wants.
“Play the game right throughout the game, make adjustments, all those different things. Throw sharply. Do the right readings. Play within the offense.”
