The Cleveland Browns are already set to lose two defensive linemen following the bye week, and now they're down to three after rookie defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. was ruled out for the game against the Saints.
Hall Jr. placed on the Browns' injured list on Thursday after it looked like they had two consecutive days of practice with perfect attendance. The rookie defensive tackle was listed and with a knee injury.
That means we'll likely see a practice squad increase at the position this weekend. Veteran Sam Kamara has been called upon frequently and could get another chance to make an impact against the Saints. Seventh-round rookie Jowon Briggs could also get his first taste of NFL action.
The good news for the Browns, however, is that Hall Jr. is the only player on their active roster who will not be available against the Saints as the rest of the roster is ready to go.
Hopefully this is just a minor setback for the Ohio State product.
