Maybe the Browns are looking to improve the pass rush but are missing out on Mason Graham. Luckily, in this class they get the flavor of a pass rusher with plenty of options available. The downside to this is that no edge rusher has stood out from the others, but that increases the team's chances of taking their favorite somewhere in the top half of the draft.
Current clubhouse leaders include Penn State's Abdul Carter, Texas A&M's Nic Scourton, Tennessee's James Pearce Jr. and Georgia's Mykel Williams. However, there are plenty of options in the top 50 and top 100, and there are still many variables that will determine how they perform in the final draft order.
The Browns haven't been able to provide a standout option opposite Garrett for most of his career, so bolstering the defense, which has been the team's key success factor of late, would be a strong team-building move.
