After Thursday's practice ahead of Week 11, there was some good and bad news on the Detroit Lions' injury report.
First the good news. Left tackle Taylor Decker was fully involved in Thursday's practice with his shoulder. Decker missed the Week 10 win in Houston and was listed as a limited participant for Wednesday's practice. That puts Decker in a good position to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at Ford Field.
Linebacker Malcolm Rodriguez was also promoted to full participant. Rodriguez has missed the last two games with a knee injury.
Now the bad news…
Starting CB Carlton Davis was demoted due to a hand injury. Davis was not listed in Wednesday's report, suggesting he had suffered from some illness during the session.
Safety Ifeatu Melifonwu also had his status downgraded. Melifonwu was still on injured reserve but was expected to return from a lingering ankle injury and was relegated to a limited player with a new knock.
Tight end Sam LaPorta was sidelined for the second straight day with a shoulder injury. LaPorta is not expected to play against Jacksonville.
