The Minnesota Vikings defense has had several special performances in 2024, none more impressive than Blake Cashman. He missed two games in 2024 and the Vikings lost both games.
This is no coincidence either, because that broke down how special the former Golden Gopher's season is.
Blake Cashman is one of four players in the NFL with at least 45 tackles, five passes defended and 2.0 sacks. The Vikings Communications Team also points out that Cashman played in six games, while the other four players appeared in 10 games.
Cashman is one of only two linebackers to achieve this in 2024, along with Brian Burns of the New York Giants.
Cashman is on the injury report again this week but participated fully in practice. His presence will be the key to the success or failure of the rest of the Vikings season.
