Mike Tomlin has a ‘Joey Porter Jr.’ sized penalty problem

has had some great performances in coverage so far in 2024, but his penalty issues continue to plague the team . In the first three quarters of the Steelers-Bengals game in Week 13, Porter committed several completely unnecessary penalties that put Cincinnati in the lead.

With less than nine minutes left in the fourth quarter of the Pittsburgh Steelers' Week 13 contest against the Porter added two more penalty-worthy plays to the young Steelers defenseman's lackluster day.

In addition to keeping Higgins in the game, Porter committed his second pass interference penalty in the end zone, essentially giving the Joe Burrow-led Cincinnati Bengals offense a touchdown.

Porter's interference on the first pass in the end zone was technically uncatchable, but it was still a poor decision by the Steelers CB.

Porter continues to pick up more penalties, most recently an illegal hand to the face with less than three minutes left .
