Surprisingly, in a recent episode of The herdHosted by the ever-polarizing Colin Cowherd, it was a Pittsburgh Steelers lovefest.
Cowherd hosted NFL insider Jordan Schultz, who was asked what he thinks the true ceiling is for the 7-2 Steelers. It felt like before Cowherd could finish asking, Schultz was off to the races and singing the praises of the Steel City for 11 weeks.
Schultz claimed so had further cemented the Steelers as a contender, even going so far as to compare Pittsburgh to perhaps the best team in the National Football League – the 8-1 Detroit Lions.
Schultz argued that both Pittsburgh and Detroit appear to leave opposing teams in worse shape when they beat them. His claims were bolstered by Washington's recent collapse against Philadelphia on Thursday Night Football in Week 11, just four short days later 28-27 win over the Commanders.
hope the same can be said for a possible win over them in Week 11 as the AFC North rivals close in on a tight division title race.
