Darnell Mooney status update following Week 11

The Atlanta Falcons have this week off and it couldn't have come at a better time. After missing eight players prior to Week 11, the team suffered a few more notable injuries in Sunday's 38-6 loss to the Denver Broncos.

wide receiver (thigh), cornerback (Concussion) and defenders (Knee) Everyone left the game and didn't return.

Mooney, the former Chicago Bears wideout, has been a key part of Atlanta's offense this season. Luckily, it doesn't sound like he'll miss the time. According to a report from ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, Mooney's hamstring injury is “not serious.”

Mooney finished Sunday's loss with two catches for 27 yards. It was his second-lowest mileage this year. Despite the quiet performance, Mooney leads the team with 711 receiving yards this season. The former fifth-round pick is on pace for the second 1,000-yard season of his career.

The Falcons have a bye in Week 12 before hosting the Los Angeles Chargers at home in Week 13. Check back later for updates on Harrison, King and rookie wide receiver Casey Washington.
