Twelve games into the season (7-5) are trending downwards. Entering Week 13, the AFC South favorites have a Football Power Index (FPI) of 1.2. Rating by ESPNwhich ranks 11th in the NFL.
The (2-9), who host Houston this weekend at EverBank Stadium, are ranked No. 29 with an FPI rating of -5.9.
The FPI is “a measure of team strength intended to be the best indicator of a team’s future performance for the remainder of the season,” it says ESPN.com. “The FPI indicates how many points a team is above or below average. Predicted results are based on 10,000 simulations of the remainder of the season using FPI, previous results and remaining schedule.”
With that in mind, here's a look at how the league's 32 teams are performing based on FPI heading into Week 13 of the 2024 NFL season.

Houston, which has lost in three of the last four meetings, will look to improve its rating when it faces the Jaguars in Week 13 before the bye week. Houston's ranking dropped one point from last week following a 32-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans.
