Second-year quarterback posted a Total QBR Rating of 23.7 in the team's 32-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Week 12. This performance increased his season-long QBR average to 51.3.
That's a slight decrease from last week's rating (52.2), which is why Stroud's ranking among QBs (No. 24) has fallen three spots compared to last week (No. 21).
Nix's traditional passer rating this season is 87.3, ranking him 25th.
Unlike a traditional passer rating, overall QBR includes “all of a quarterback's contributions to victory, including how he influences the game through passes, rushes, turnovers and penalties,” according to the statement ESPN.
The metric takes into account scenarios that traditional passer evaluation ignores, taking into account “a team's degree of success or failure on each play to provide proper context and then assigns credit to the quarterback and his teammate to provide a clearer picture “To provide a measure of the quarterback’s efficiency.”
With that in mind, here's a look at how Stroud stacks up against the NFL's other starting quarterbacks over Thanksgiving weekend
