The last time were on “Monday Night Football” appeared on the television screen.
It could have been five years and Watt could have retired, but the former will still be on your TV when Houston takes on the Cowboys at AT&T Stadium.
Watt is displayed on the alternate telecast on ESPN2 alongside Peyton and Eli Manning during Monday's game. The national broadcast will air on ABC and ESPN starting at 7:15 p.m. CT.

Watt, who was named Defensive Player of the Year three times during his 10 seasons with the Texans, will join the Manning brothers in the fourth quarter. Former New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick will appear in the first half of his weekly segment.
While many Texans fans have been waiting for Watt to come out of retirement, they will at least see the best defensive player in franchise history prominently speaking about the program on national television.
The Texans will play their first Monday night game since September 9, 2019, when they opened the season with a 30-28 loss to the New Orleans Saints. This was also Laremy Tunsil's first appearance in a Houston jersey after the preseason trade before the new season.
The Texans (6-4) are down 4-2 in the series against the Cowboys (3-6).
