Indianapolis Colts left tackle Bernhard Raimann was in the team's first practice in Week 11 before the game against the New York Jets.
With the bye week still a few weeks away, the Colts held a walkthrough instead of a normal Wednesday practice — hence the assessment of each player's status.
Raimann left the Colts' contest against Buffalo in the first half on Sunday with a knee injury and did not return. He ended up playing just 13 snaps.
At this time, we have no further details regarding Raimann's injury or what his potential availability might be for the rest of the week. However, it seemed plausible that at least one day of training could be missed if the to strengthen the depth of the position during training.
Sunday's game against the Bills was Raimann's first game after missing the week before against Minnesota due to a concussion.
Overall, Raimann had a good season for the Colts, building on a strong sophomore season in 2023. Out of 79 tackles allowed, he ranks 23rd in pass blocking efficiency and 26th in run blocking rating.
Without Raimann, the Colts will lean on left tackle Matt Goncalves. In his two appearances over the last two games, Goncalves was credited with allowing six pressures, three sacks and being penalized once, according to PFF.
Notably, in Sunday's game, it was Goncalves who was beaten by Bills' edge rusher Greg Rousseau when the ball was knocked out of Joe Flacco's hands, leading to a Buffalo fumble recovery.
This week, the Colts face a Jets defensive line starting Week 11 in yards per rush allowed at 4.3 and ninth in pressure rate.
