One Colts player among NFLPA’s midseason top 50 players merchandise sales list

The NFL has released its midseason schedule List and included was a member of the Indianapolis Colts – quarterback Anthony Richardson.

This NFLPA report is based on sales of all officially licensed NFL player merchandise from March 1 through August 31, 2024, so it goes beyond just jerseys.

Richardson would land at No. 42 on the list. Leading the way were Patrick Mahomes, CJ Stroud, Jalen Hurts, Caleb Williams and Joe Burrow rounding out the top five.

After sitting on the bench following the Colts' Week 8 loss to Houston, Richardson has bounced back and responded strongly over the past two weeks.

In Week 11 against the New York Jets, Richardson had his best nfl game, completing 20 of 30 passes for 272 yards with three total touchdowns and leading two fourth-quarter touchdown drives to complete the come-from-behind victory.

Last Sunday against Detroit, Richardson had just an 11-for-28 passing percentage, but that stat doesn't do his performance justice.

Similar to the week before, Richardson showed good command and decision-making and was often timely and in rhythm with his throws – all essential elements to strong quarterback play.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much help from Richardson as some explosive plays, dropped passes and offensive line issues were negated by penalties.

At 5-7 this season, the Colts are clinging to their playoff life, but Richardson's play over the past two weeks has given the organization some much-needed long-term hope.
