The Indianapolis Colts released their first injury report for Week 13 on Wednesday before their game against New England, and there were a few more players listed than in recent weeks.
Notably, the Colts held a walkout for the third straight Wednesday as they approached their very late bye week. So this specific injury report is simply an assessment of each player's training status. The Colts will be back on the practice field on Thursday.
With that in mind, let's take a closer look at the first injury report of Week 13 with everything you need to know.
With today's walkthrough, Wednesday's practice report is only an estimate of a player's attendance if there had been a practice.

– Josh Downs was a non-participant with a shoulder injury. Downs left Sunday with his shoulder injury but returned possession. However, reported on Monday that he was battling the injury “week to week” and could play against New England “for the long haul.” Shane Steichen wasn't ready to rule out Downs, but said he was available
– Also not involved at receiver were Ashton Dulin (ankle) and Alec Pierce (foot). Dulin left Sunday's game with an ankle injury and did not return. We currently have no further information. With Pierce, I would report that his right ankle was “looked at/re-taped” during Sunday's game, but a source told Boyd that Pierce was “fine.”
– Tanor Bortolini entered the concussion protocol on Monday and remains there. If he can't go and Ryan Kelly is still on IR, Danny Pinter would start at centre.
– Braden Smith did not participate for personal reasons and Bernard Raimann returned to the practice field for the first time since suffering a knee injury in Week 10 against Buffalo. Having Raimann back at left tackle would give this offensive unit some needed stability right now.
– Although Michael Pittman and Dalton Tucker are on the injury report, both were full participants – an early but good sign for Sunday. When it comes to Tucker on the right, about him as a starter and said, “We’ll see,” when asked if a change was coming.
