What to know from Indianapolis Colts first Week 12 injury report

The Indianapolis Colts took the practice field for the first time Thursday after holding a walkthrough Wednesday and released their second injury report for Week 12.

Let's take a closer look at what you need to know.

– We'll see what Friday brings, but Raimann didn't practice on Thursday and hasn't practiced since he had to leave the Buffalo game in the first half with a knee injury. Last week, Shane Steichen called Raimann every week and mentioned on Wednesday that they would see how he progresses this week before making a decision for this Sunday. However, since he hasn't practiced in almost two weeks, I expect Matt Goncalves to return to action at left tackle. We'll see.

– Michael Pittman was fully involved on the second day – a good sign that his back was doing well in last Sunday’s game.

– Braden Smith has been upgraded from a limited participant to a full participant because he is suffering from a foot injury. Another good sign for this week's game against a very good Lions defense.

– Of note, Josh Downs and Kenny Moore were placed on the injury report after not being listed on Wednesday, but both were full participants.

– Lastly, Tyquan Lewis, who was was a full participant for the second day in a row. When asked about the possibility of playing this week despite having just returned to training after missing the last seven weeks, Lewis said this :

“It’s possible,” Lewis said of playing this week. “However, I think we’ll just have to get used to playing again as the week goes on.”
