Jaguars WR Gabe Davis believed to have suffered meniscus tear

Jaguars starting wide receiver Gabe Davis is reported to have suffered a torn meniscus during Jacksonville's 52-6 loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 11, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Monday.

According to Rapoport, Davis is expected to undergo surgery to treat the injury, although it is currently unclear whether a partial or full repair will be required. The former would leave the door open for Davis to play again this season; The latter would probably end his election campaign.
