Some players, like quarterback Will Levis, improve when forced out of the lineup, while others falter after being released. Consider Petit-Frère as someone who may never improve. Forced back into the starting lineup due to injury, he did nothing to take advantage of the opportunity and was once again an absolute liability. Not only did he commit three penalties that set the offense back, he also put constant pressure on Levis. Proper attack is a problem and Petit-Frere has shown that it is not the solution.
