The Arizona Cardinals have their most important game of the season on Sunday. They face the Seattle Seahawks at home in Week 14, their second time in three weeks.
The Seahawks lead the NFC West at 7-5, while the Cardinals are a game behind them in second place at 6-6. This is huge because a win puts them back in control of their destiny as division title contenders.
If they win, they improve to 7-6 and take first place with a division tiebreaker against Seattle. Lose and you're two games behind Seattle and lose the head-to-head tiebreaker, essentially putting you three games behind Seattle with just four games left on the schedule.
If they lose, they would need to win to get to 10-7, and Seattle could only win one of their last four games.
It leads to a huge increase in playoff chances.
the Seahawks-Cardinals game is the biggest in the playoff race.
Seahawks at Cardinals is by far the most important game of the week for the playoff scene.
In our simulations, a Seahawks win would result in the Seahawks reaching 62% and the Cardinals reaching 17%.
If the Cardinals win, it would be 71% for Arizona and 11% for Seattle.

Whoever wins will most likely reach the postseason as it will put them firmly in control of the division. Whoever loses is on the verge of elimination.
So far this season has exceeded the Cardinals' expectations. But a defeat would be a huge disappointment. A win would give them the momentum they need for the rest of the season.
