Upcoming games for Arizona Cardinals could get flexed to prime time

The Arizona Cardinals were only scheduled to play one prime-time game on national television this season. This game happened back in Week 7 when they played the LA Chargers at home on Monday night.

After their bye week in Week 11, it is possible that one of their upcoming games could be moved to Sunday night or Monday night.

The NFL may, at its discretion, move games to Sunday night beginning in Week 11 and to Monday night in Week 12 through Week 17. The change must be made at least 12 days before the game.

One game has already been postponed to Sunday evening in Week 11. Colts-Jets was originally scheduled to be played on Sunday night. This has been moved to 1 p.m. ET. Sunday night's game is now called Bengals Chargers.

So what games could be postponed for the Cardinals?

We can skip their games against the Seattle Seahawks in Weeks 12 and 14, as the Seahawks have lost five of their last six. We can skip their Week 15 and 16 games against New England and Carolina.

That leaves Week 13 against the Minnesota Vikings and Week 17 against the LA Rams.

In Week 13, the Sunday night game is 49ers-Bills. This is a top duel, a possible preview of the Super Bowl, so that won't change. But Monday night's game is Browns-Broncos.

The Cardinals-Vikings currently have two teams in the playoff race.

Week 17 has the Dolphins-Browns game on Sunday night, which may be postponed. The Cardinals' Week 17 game is not yet scheduled. It could be Saturday or Sunday this week.

Monday night's game is between the Lions and the 49ers. So don't expect anything to change.

So keep an eye on the game against the Vikings. We will know by the middle of next week whether it will remain a Sunday game at 1 p.m. ET or whether it will be moved to Monday evening.
