Sean Payton takes blame for blocked field goal

Before the Denver Broncos The hosts were the Cleveland Browns Monday Night Football In Week 13, former NFL center and current ESPN analyst Jason Kelce crashed into a tailgate while wearing a Broncos jersey.

Kelce's decision to rock the orange and blue was surprising considering (a) he's from Cleveland and (b) his brother, tight end Travis Kelce, plays for the division rival Kansas City Chiefs.

Kelce explained his wardrobe on his Twitter/X page on Monday evening.

“Every tailgate I go to Monday Night FootballI'm wearing a jersey honoring a former home team great. … Tonight I wore the Tom Nalen jersey as one of the game's legendary centers and a guy I looked up to and watched as I learned the position as an undersized center.”

“I like to honor great players in this league as I head into the tailgate of team fans, but I told everyone in the tailgate that I was rooting for the Browns and when we were deciding who would win the game I said. “I can't bring myself to play my hometown team, so I chose the Browns just for that reason.”

So there you have it. Although Kelce supported the Browns, he was still well received by Broncos fans.

Nalen played for the Broncos from 1994 to 2008 and led an offensive line that won two Super Bowls. Kelce played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2011 to 2023 and won a Super Bowl after the 2017 season.
