Another week, another starting cornerback down for the Raiders. They were already without Nate Hobbs last week in Miami, and they also lost Jakorian Bennett after two games. According to Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce, both will now miss Sunday's game against the Broncos.
That game also lost Jack Jones to injury, who practiced on Friday but whose status is questionable, meaning he may not play either.
With Jones out, the Raiders used up all of their depth at cornerback, with the three cornerbacks in play being DeCamerion Richardson, Darnay Holmes and Sam Webb. And it's possible they're looking to this trio to *start* the game. Or at least Richardson and Holmes.
They will certainly add one of the cornerbacks from the practice squad to the active roster to fill out the depth chart. Those three are newcomer MJ Devonshire along with Kyu Blu Kelly and the newly added Keenan Issac.
