Rams WR wasn’t hurt, just threw up after TD

Puka Nacua has given Rams fans way too much fear this season. Between his two knee injuries in training camp and Week 1 and his third in practice before Week 9, he seemed to be struggling all year.

He appeared to be injured again Sunday against the Patriots when his 12-yard touchdown catch landed hard in the end zone. He was slow to get up and was examined by trainers on the field before going to the medical tent for further examination.

He returned on the Rams' next drive, so everything went well, and Sean McVay explained what actually happened during his postgame press conference.

“They were just being careful with him because he was vomiting,” McVay said. “He fell on the ball and he’s so crazy. There was nothing wrong with his head, so he’s fine.”

Nacua builds an unfortunate story of vomiting. He vomited on the sidelines during a game last season, while they trained this summer and now this one.

It's not his fault he landed on the ball and made a spectacular catch. It was just the way he went down.

All that matters is that he's good to go after another 100-yard performance.
