49ers rookie lone injury news from Kyle Shanahan after Week 10 win

The San Francisco 49ers left Tampa Bay with a 23-20 win over the Buccaneers and perhaps escaped without any major injury issues.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters immediately after Sunday's game that rookie cornerback Renardo Green left the game with a toe injury. Green did not return to competition. He was replaced by the experienced CB Rock Ya-Sin.

Green started outside, experienced CB Charvarius Ward had to miss out for personal reasons. The rookie second-round pick performed well before his injury, including a pass breakup that would have been a touchdown for Tampa Bay. It looked like he played mostly outside while CB Deommodore Lenoir played in the slot. Veteran CB Isaac Yiadom started at the other outside CB spot.

Even though the immediate injury reports are good, that doesn't mean the 49ers are out of the woods yet.

Shanahan will speak to reporters on a conference call Monday and may have more news. Sometimes injuries occur overnight. Wide receivers Deebo Samuel and Jauan Jennings both had injury issues early in the game, and running back Christian McCaffrey made his season debut after missing the first eight weeks with Achilles tendonitis.

All three appeared to get through the game without any issues, but we'll have more information on Monday when Shanahan speaks to reporters again.
