The Seattle Seahawks earned a decisive victory over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, winning their Week 12 NFC West contest 16-6. Starting quarterback Geno Smith completed 22 of 31 pass attempts for 254 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Smith and the offense were effective enough on offense. When analyzing advanced metrics, these were the Seahawks' three highest-rated offensive players, according to Pro Football Focus.
The top-rated Seahawks in Week 12 vs. the Cardinals:
🥇 Kenneth Walker III – 88.2
🥈 Leonard Williams – 87.0
🥉 Jaxon Smith-Njigba – 79.1
🏅 Ernest Jones – 73.5
🏅 Julian Love – 71.1— PFF SEA Seahawks (@PFF_Seahawks)
Kenneth Walker III | 88.2
It was nothing short of surprising that Kenneth Walker III scored so high considering he carried 16 carries for 41 yards and zero touchdowns. The Cardinals shut down the former Michigan State star and held Seattle's preferred ball carrier to 2.6 yards per carry. However, Walker contributed four balls on six scores, totaling 52 yards and almost 100 yards of offense.
Jaxon Smith-Njigba | 79.1
Jaxon Smith-Njigba continues to enjoy a breakout sophomore season. JSN was Smith's preferred target again on Sunday, leading the Seahawks in receptions (six) and receiving yards (77). Smith-Njigba also scored Seattle's only offensive touchdown of the afternoon. JSN lives up to the hype as a first-round pick from last year.
DK Metcalf | 69.8
DK Metcalf remains Smith's proven deep threat. The vertical boundary receiver collected four receptions for 59 receiving yards. The highlight of Metcalf's afternoon was a 29-yard reception, Seattle's second-longest offensive play. The Cardinals had few answers for Seattle's passing attack.
