The Seattle Seahawks made two roster moves on Saturday ahead of their Week 13 game against the New York Jets. The Seahawks elevated safety Ty Okada and quarterback Jaren Hall from the practice squad to the active 53-man roster.
Okada has made the move from the practice squad to the active roster a few times this year, appearing in both games against San Francisco and Atlanta. He has recorded a total of three tackles so far this year. Okada knows the system and offers depth when it comes to security.
In the meantime, promoting Jaren Hall is a little strange. Hall was In early September after spending his rookie season with the Minnesota Vikings. Hall took part in three games, starting two and winning one of them. However, the only win was one in which he was knocked out of the game with a concussion and did not return, but the Vikings still held on to win. This is the first time the Seahawks will have three quarterbacks on a game day.
The Seahawks and Jets kick off Sunday at 10 a.m. Pacific on FOX.
