Manchester City are now winless in seven games for the first time since 2004 – but Arne Slot has no pity for Pep Guardiola.
Liverpool relaxed into one 2-0 win on Sunday at Anfield against the Citizens, extending their lead over the Premier League defending champions to 11 points.

Guardiola has now set an unwanted record in each of City's last three games.

And now, in the recent defeat against Liverpool, he went seven games without a win.
But slot has no sympathy for the Spaniard as he commented on the former Barcelona manager's ever-growing trophy collection.
At his post-match press conference, the Dutchman was asked if he had any sympathy for Guardiola.
He then said: “You feel sympathy or empathy for the managers who are doing really badly.”
“Either they have lost a lot of games or are at the bottom of the league.
“But Pep has won so many things and shown so many times, that’s why the league won’t be decided in November or December.”
“Last season they were eight points behind Arsenal somewhere in February.
“So no one has to feel empathy or [feel] Apologies to Pep – perhaps to other managers – but not to Pep.
“He has won so many things and will be able to bring City back – they are still at the top of the table – but even more so than they are now.”
Guardiola was successful at Barca, Bayern and City and won 12 league titles.
Six of his championships have come in England and he was quick to point this out to Liverpool fans after he was subjected to chants of “You'll be sacked in the morning” by holding up six fingers.
Commenting on the gesture, Guardiola said: “I am so proud of my six Premier League games against this and the previous team.”
“I didn’t expect Anfield to start calling for me to be sacked when the score was 2-0.”
“Maybe I deserve to be fired. With our results I might still be in the job because I won six Premier Leagues and a lot of titles.”
“But I didn’t expect to be singing at 0-2 – maybe at 0-1 when it was closer, or maybe last season or the previous season.
“I didn’t expect it at Anfield but it’s fine. It's part of the game. When you win you laugh, when you lose you laugh.”
Next up for City is a home game against league leaders Nottingham Forest on Wednesday, and Liverpool face Newcastle at St James' Park on the same evening.
