Danni Wyatt-Hodge: England all-rounder signs for Surrey

Wyatt-Hodge's departure from the Utilita Bowl was announced alongside the departure of teammate Charlie Dean, who will also pursue opportunities away from Hampshire.

23-year-old off-spin all-rounder Dean leaves Hampshire after representing the county in various guises since the U13 level.

She became the fastest woman to take 50 one-day international wickets, achieving this milestone in just 26 matches.

“I can’t say enough about how important Hampshire and Southern Vipers have been to my cricketing career,” said Dean cricket/news/charlie-dean-and-danni-wyatt-hodge-depart-utilita-bowl/” class=”ssrcss-k8mrr8-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0″>said the club's website., external

“Since joining Hampshire as a teenager, the coaches and staff have been exceptional and it has been a privilege to call Utilita Bowl my home since 2017.”

“The success we achieved as a team was simply incredible and I will look back fondly on my time here.”

Hampshire is among eight counties selected to take part in the first stage of the sport's new structure, alongside Durham, Essex, Lancashire, Nottinghamshire, Somerset, Surrey and Warwickshire.
