Best and worst performers vs. Rams

The second half of the game was a slightly different story than the first on both sides of the ball. The offense completely stalled and had no success on the ground, while the passing game felt incompetent after an inspiring start. Overall, the team was only able to get three points in the second half and only just stayed in the game. A crucial 4th-and-2 decision to kick late in the third period saved them in the end, but they might have put this game away much earlier if they had scored a touchdown instead.

On the defensive side of possession, the team loosened up up front and allowed Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgier to make some big attacks on the ground. As a team, they allowed 181 yards on the ground and gave up an average of 5.7 YPC. Multiple missed tackles and poor perimeter defense led to Atlanta's success on the ground. The Saints need to find a way to get better in this area as they have struggled all year.
