Bo is very risk averse, which is why he’s very methodical in his climb into mmm the UFC. He himself has said he doesn’t want top fighters yet because he wants to develop and get experience the right way.
Keep in mind, he’s only been striking for a couple of years, so he’s very green to the whole of MMA.
Also, given his dominant wrestling legacy at Penn State, I think he’s trying to keep his record as unblemished as possible.
It’s the UFC’s fault for sticking him on PPV main cards so early into his career. Wasn’t the best show for sure, but not sure why that solely falls on Bo. There were two in the cage.
Bo fought well. He outboxed a guy with tons of experience, and Craig has wins over Ank, and Hill. But it would serve him well to train with DC or Khabib. People that know how to mesh the wrestling and boxing to a T

To be fair Paul Craig is a massive step up from Cody Brundage they should push Bo slowly but at the same time the way Bo says things like how he would maul Whittaker and beat Khamzat doesn't help when your barely beating Paul Craig
