Curtis Jones equaled a 42-year achievement with his stunning debut for England on Thursday night.

With this goal, the 23-year-old became the first Liverpool player to score on his England debut since 1982.

But the similarities don't stop there as Lee's debut goal also came against Greece.
Even more bizarrely, both goals resulted in a 3-0 win, with Jones and Lee's respective goals being the third of three scored.
As if the record wasn't crazy enough, there are almost 42 years to the day between the two goals, with Lee's goal coming on Wednesday, November 17, 1982.
In an interview with ITV, Jones was asked if he enjoyed it and replied: “I tried.”
