What you should know

The Warriors will play in front of their home fans on Wednesday, but a look at the spread shows they may need that home advantage. They will host the Oklahoma City Thunder at 10 p.m. ET at Chase Center.

Actually, the Warriors could have gone into the game after a big win against the Nets, but things went a little differently on Monday. The Warriors suffered a 128-120 loss at the hands of the Nets. The loss hurts even more because Golden State was up 86-68 with 7:13 left in the third period.

The Warriors' loss came despite a good game from Stephen Curry, who scored 28 points and seven assists. Additionally, Curry made eight three-pointers, the most he has had since February.

Even though they lost, the Warriors worked as a unit and finished the game with 32 assists (they rank first in assists per game overall). This strong performance was nothing new for the team: they have now recorded at least 27 assists in nine consecutive games.

Meanwhile, the Kings kept up with the Thunder until halftime on Monday, but after that: not so much. Everything went according to plan against the Kings as the Thunder escaped with a 130-109 win. For those keeping track at home, this is the biggest win Oklahoma City has had since November 1st.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams were among the Thunder's key playmakers, as the former shot 4-for-7 from distance and posted a double-double with 37 points and 11 assists, while the latter shot 10-for-16 en route to 28 points-plus five assists and two steals. Gilgeous-Alexander's night made it seven straight games in which he scored at least 30 points.

Golden State's loss ended a five-game winning streak at home and dropped them to 12-5. For Oklahoma City, the victory marked the second win in a row and the season record rose to 13-4.

Keep an eye on the arc for Wednesday's game: The Warriors have shot from deep this season, shooting 38.1% of their three-pointers per game. However, things are different for the Thunder as they have only made 34.9% of their threes this season. Given the Warriors' significant advantage in this area, the Thunder must find a way to close this gap.

In the last game between the two teams on November 10th, the Warriors were able to get a solid win over the Thunder, winning 127-116. Do the Warriors have another win on their hands or will the Thunder turn the tables? We'll get the answer soon.
