The Buffalo Bills (9-2) will continue to be out there earning their stripes for the remainder of the 2024 NFL season.
But why not give out some grades on what we've seen so far as the Bills exit their bye this week?
So, here is Bill's Wire's Position report for the team when saying goodbye:

Running Backs: B

James Cook has had strong performances for the most part, but has been held back a few times, such as against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11. Rookie Ray Davis has also provided some pleasant surprises.

The Bills have had some promising games from their receivers recently. But early on, there was a reason Buffalo signed Amari Cooper in a business: He was needed. Khalil Shakir was a strong and consistent presence.
Tight Ends: B-

Dalton Kincaid has developed into a solid tight end…but no one would call him elite yet. Dawson Knox is now mostly gone.
Offensive line: A-

USAT
Professional football focus Currently, the Bills' offensive line is ranked No. 8 in the NFL. Her grade there is canceled because Spencer Brown (ankle) is dealing with an injury. When Brown returns, they'll easily be in the top five… and that could be soon.
Defensive line: B

It feels like the Bills just delivered solid, steady play from their defensive line…but it's hard to argue with Greg Rousseau's performance. PFF ranks him among the best defenders in the nfl with an overall grade of 89.4. Ed Oliver has once again remained a force in the middle.
Linebacker: B

USAT
The Bills got consistent play again from Terrel Bernard…but while Dorian Williams contributed well, a potential return of Matt Milano (biceps) would be huge.

The Bills' safety duo of Taylor Rapp and Damar Hamlin were mostly…okay. However, the cornerback trio of Taron Johnson, Rasul Douglas and Christian Benford was incredibly productive. Dare we say the best thing in the nfl?

Punter Sam Martin was never more than an average punter… but what is Tyler Bass? Every time the kicker gives you some confidence, you have reason to believe otherwise.
