Aaron Rodgers was ‘confused’ Jets did not go for two vs. the Colts

Maybe it would have made a difference, maybe not.

But it appears the New York Jets (3-8) weren't on the same page at one point in their game 28-27 defeat to the Indianapolis Colts (5-6) in Week 11.

In the fourth quarter, quarterback Aaron Rodgers found tight end Kenny Yeboah for an 11-yard touchdown. This should give the Jets a seven point lead.

The cameras caught Rodgers signaling that New York would attempt a two-point conversion. The Jets didn't.

After the contest, Rodgers said he discussed the scenario with interim coach Jeff Ulbrich and the coaching staff and the idea was to pick two. Apparently Ulbrich changed his mind and Rodgers said he was “confused” about what changed when he was on the field.

After the game, Ulbrich mentioned that he was “confident” in his defense at that point and decided to just kick the extra point.

An interesting turn of events.
