The New York Jets will be hoping to put their loss to the Indianapolis Colts and the many others behind them as they emerge from their bye week.
But specifically related to this The Jets (3:8) lost against the Colts in a historic way for the team.
According to ESPN Research, the loss marked the first time in team history that the Jets scored as many points as the team, had as few penalties and didn't turn the ball over… and still lost:
Rather remarkable: yesterday was the first time History shows that they lost a game in which they scored more than 25 points, had fewer than 15 penalty yards, and had 0 turnovers.
This has only happened five times in the NFL since 2000. It was the first time this season. h/t ESPN Research.
