Green Bay Packers safety Xavier McKinney was absent from Tuesday's walk-through practice and was placed on the injury report as a non-participant due to a personal issue.
coach Matt LaFleur said he expected McKinney to be back Tuesday night and available for Wednesday.
The Packers face the Miami Dolphins on Thursday night at Lambeau Field.
LaFleur's team made three additional adjustments to the injury report on Tuesday: Kenny Clark and Elgton Jenkins were full participants in Monday's walk-through after a break, and Rasheed Walker (knee) was upgraded to full participant.
The five players who were deemed ineligible to participate on Monday due to injuries did not practice again on Tuesday: cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee), linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hamstring), receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion), tight end John FitzPatrick (back). . and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie (ankle). All five are at risk of not playing against the Dolphins on Thursday.
LaFleur said he was concerned about the depth of the linebacker position with both Cooper and McDuffie dealing with injuries and only three other healthy linebackers on the 53-man roster and practice squad. Veteran Jamin Davis was signed off the Packers' practice squad by the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday. It's possible that LaFleur's team enters Thursday's game with only Quay Walker, Eric Wilson and rookie Ty'Ron Hopper as healthy linebackers.
LaFleur said Doubs is still in the concussion protocol, but he was present on the sideline during the walkthrough.
Interestingly, Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill was also absent on Tuesday due to a personal issue. Like the Packers, the Dolphins conducted a walk-through on Tuesday. Miami added Patrick McMorris to the injury report with an ankle injury.
