Carolina Panthers legend Cam Newton has often on the gridiron. But did that prepare him for something a little closer to actual warfare?
Newton was announced as one of 16 celebrities set to star in FOX's upcoming season Special Forces: The Toughest Test in the World. According to FOX, contestants on the reality series will undergo military training to face the “toughest and most grueling challenges in the Special Forces actual selection process playbook.”
This season is set in Wales, England – where celebrities train against the “harsh reality” of war at sea.
